Short description

Zoms is a top-down zombie apocalypse survival MMO. Scavenge the ruins, craft your gear, and build a stronghold against the horde — solo or with a crew. Choose from 5 classes, level your skills, and brave a persistent open world that turns deadly after dark.

About the game

The world fell. You didn't. Zoms drops survivors into a persistent, top-down open world overrun by the dead, where every choice is a gamble between pushing deeper for better loot and holing up to fortify. Hunger, thirst, and infection close in constantly — and so does the night, when the horde hits twice as hard.

It's a deep, systems-driven sandbox: gather and craft, build and defend a base zombies will actively siege, hunt and fight with melee, bows and firearms, drive vehicles, and survive alongside other players with parties, trading, an in-game economy, and proximity + radio voice chat. Five distinct classes — Pathfinder, Enforcer, Combat Medic, Engineer, and Demolitionist — each bring unique traits and a full ability kit, layered on top of 18 "level-by-doing" proficiency skills and Diablo-style rolled loot.

  • Build & defend a base — claim land and raise a multi-story stronghold with lockable doors, storage, and defenses the horde will tear at.
  • Gather, craft & cook — woodcutting, mining, foraging, hunting, workbench crafting, and campfire cooking.
  • Survive — manage hunger, thirst, stamina, and a creeping infection death-clock.
  • Fight — melee, bows, and ~30 firearms with fire modes and reloads, against zombies, predators, world bosses, and armed bandits.
  • Drive — mopeds and buggies with real handling, fuel, damage, and explosive roadkill.
  • 5 classes & 18 proficiencies — deep, flexible character progression.
  • Rolled loot — five rarities with random affixes across weapons, armor, and clothing.
  • Play together — parties, player trading, an economy, dungeons, and voice chat in a persistent world.
  • A living world — day/night cycle and dynamic weather that change how you play.
